Liverpool got spectacular goals from Rio Ngumoha and Mohamed Salah and survived a somewhat shaky second half to get a big 3 points over Fulham at Anfield.

  • Mamardashvili (7/10): Not a lot to do, but answered the bell when called upon
  • Robertson (8/10): Solid in the back and had bright moments coming forward
  • Szoboszlai (6/10): Serviceable but overshadowed by others
  • Jones (5/10): Not much of an impact. Subbed off at halftime due to an injury
  • Frimpong (6/10): Good play going forward, but surrendered several corners in the second half
  • Van Dijk (7/10): He did well defending those corners
  • Konate (610): No mistakes, but a quiet day
  • Ngumoha (8/10): Great goal, but also passed up open teammates on other chances
  • Wirtz: (7/10): A good job helping in the build-up of the Reds' attack
  • Salah  (7/10): Looked like his old self after a string of subpar performances
  • Gakpo (8(/10): Assisted on the second goal and the best second half of any Liverpool player

The Substitutes

  • Gravenberch (6/10): Solid 45 minutes on the pitch
  • Gomez (4/10): Bad giveaway in the second half
  • Isak (5/10): Quiet 20 minutes on the pitch. Sub had a lot to do with resting players for the next match
  • Mac Allister (6/10:) Nearly made it 3-0 with a late strike, but put the chance just wide
  • Nyoni (5/10) Late sub, No impact.

Man of the Match

  •  Ngumoha: Why not give it to the youngster for his first of hopefully many Anfield goals?

The Manager

  • Arne Slot (8/10) Brilliant Starting XI changes. I love the inclusion of Robertson and Ngumoha.
