Liverpool showed marked improvement over the first leg, but near misses and a pair of late strikes from PSG doomed them to a 2-0loss, and they exited the UCL 4-0 on aggregate.

  • Isak (6/10): Continued to show improvement, working his way back from injury

The Substitutes

  • Salah (9/10): Brilliant  performance after coming on, nearly scoring and delivering some good corners
  • Gomez (5/10): Had to come off after just 20 minutes on the pitch
  • Gakpo (7/10): Constant threat after coming on. His best game in a while
  • Ngumoha (7/10): Some moments of brilliance from the youngster, but others where he held the ball too long
  • Jones (5/10) Little to no Impact

Man of the Match

  • Salah

The Manager

  • Arne Slot (6/10)  Salah had a great game and should have played the full 90, but I like Slot’s aggressiveness

LFC Globe Verdict

That was better, but not good enough from the Reds. You felt a Liverpool goal was coming, but the first PSG goal really took the wind out of the Reds’ sails.
