Norwich vs Liverpool highlights: Watch the goals and highlights as the Reds beat Norwich City 3-0 to advance to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
Jurgen Klopp made nine changes to the side from the weekend, with 16-year-old Kaide Gordon and 18-year-old Conor Bradley earning their first senior starts in a starting eleven that also saw places for Curtis Jones, Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino.
The Reds got off to the ideal start through Minamino after the ball fell to him from Divock Origi's header down from a corner, with the Japan international finishing expertly to put Liverpool 1-0 up inside four minutes.
Liverpool dominated the ball and looked threatening as they racked up the corners, with Ibrahima Konate heading inches over the crossbar on one occasion.
But despite the Reds being in total control for much of the first half-hour, the hosts eventually began to make their mark in the game through a couple of unnerving moments.
An understandably eager Bradley took down Dimitris Giannoulis inside the box as he attempted to clear, with the hosts given the chance to equalise from the spot before the interval.
But Christos Tzolis's penalty down the middle was brilliantly saved by Caoimhin Kelleher, who readjusted his feet after diving to his right to keep the Reds' lead going into half-time.
Norwich had another excellent opportunity to get back on level terms seconds after the break as an unchallenged Pierre Lees-Melou unleashed from inside the Reds' box, but the Norwich midfielder blazed over the crossbar.
The Reds didn't take long to find their feet and they soon doubled their lead as the ever-present Tsimikas sent in a pinpoint cross towards Origi, who superbly headed into the back of the net to make it 2-0 and score his first goal in nearly a year.
Liverpool made sure the hosts had little to be encouraged about and they eventually sealed the win through Minamino, who netted his second of the game with a clever finish to give the Reds a 3-0 victory.
Klopp's side will find out their fourth-round opponents tomorrow night, with the draw set to take place following Manchester United's meeting with West Ham.
The Reds travel to Brentford in the Premier League next as they look to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 17 including the tail-end of last season.
