Jurgen Klopp welcomed some of his key players back to full training ahead of Liverpool's meeting with Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday.
It's been nearly two weeks since Liverpool overcame Fulham at Craven Cottage, putting themselves at the top of the league during the international break, albeit having played a game more.
They return to Premier League action this weekend in a crucial clash against Tottenham, with Mauricio Pochettino's side possibly one of their hardest remaining fixtures.
The Reds squad came through international duty unscathed, with Klopp saying it was the first time this season that his players remained injury-free whilst away.
The likes of Jordan Henderson, Virgil van Dijk, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane joined training with the others at Melwood this morning.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is expected to return soon following a setback in his recovery, but the squad was bolstered by the return of Joe Gomez, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Xherdan Shaqiri.
Klopp confirmed on the trio: “Yesterday they were all in training, all three pretty much the first full session.
“We have to see how they react, it was no other alternative for Shaq and Trent, not being involved in the games in that period. Anything else would have been really crazy. They needed the treatment, rehab.
“Joe was back yesterday after 15 weeks—what a long time eh? But it looked really good. [These are] early stages. He's really now adapting again to proper football training, after having obviously thousands of rehab sessions.
“They should all be OK, I heard nothing different this morning, [they will] train again today and we will see.”
