vs. Liverpool: The Reds Look To Make It Four Wins In A Row

It's been quite the contrasting start to the season for Wolves and Liverpool.

While the side travel to Molineux unbeaten in their first four games while having won three games on the trot, the hosts have won just once and already suffered three defeats.

In fairness to Wolves, they've had tricky opponents in and Brighton but they did suffer a disappointing 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace in their last outing.

It's the opposite atmosphere at where Liverpool have had a pleasant start to a season where they experienced quite a lot of outgoings in what is the beginning of 's second era at the club.

With the game taking place on Saturday, September 16 at 12:30 PM (UK time), Liverpool's South American contingent of , , and are unlikely to start given their late arrival back to the UK following duty.

With the trio expected to be rested, the likes of , and are the most likely candidates to step in against a side that has beaten Liverpool just once in the in over a decade.

While Wolves have proved to be a bogey team for the likes of in the past, the same hasn't been able to be said for Liverpool who've maintained a dominant record over the Midlands club throughout the years.

Despite their dominance, Liverpool suffered a humbling 3-0 defeat on their last visit to the Molineux Stadium in February earlier this year during a time of turmoil for Klopp's men.

However, seven months on, Liverpool seem a different outfit with the outgoings and ingoings that have occurred at the club over the summer with an improved midfield the biggest difference by far.

Liverpool sit third in the Premier League and could surpass Manchester City at the top of the table temporarily should they defeat Wolves while the side will be looking to avoid a fourth defeat in five which could spell an early relegation battle.

LFC Globe Verdict

I think the early kick-off will prove to be tricky for Liverpool but I expect them to come out on top as 3-1 winners.
