Aston Villa have enjoyed a strong season as they will finish in the top half of the table after surviving relegation a year ago. The Reds are still looking for the double, however, as Liverpool claimed a 3-1 away win on Boxing Day. Aston Villa is led by Ollie Watkin's 15 goals while the Lions' super-signing from 2021, Emi, only has 5. The results have also been a mixed bag for Aston Villa as of late, getting two wins, two losses and a draw in their last 5 matches.
Klopp Banned From The Touchline
Jürgen Klopp will not be in the technical area for the match as he is serving the first part of a two-match ban, The suspension results from comments made about official Paul Tierney after Liverpool defeated Tottenham 4-3. Klopp, who will serve the second game of his ban next season, was also fined £75,000. Pepijn Lijnders will likely be in the tactical area instead as he is the one in charge during the Carabao Cup matches.

Well, here we are. The final game at Anfield for the season. After the struggles the Reds have had at different points in the year, it's nice to see that they are still in contention for the Champions League. The big question is how will the club respond to Klopp not being on the touchline? I think they will still win 2-0, but that bit of uncertainty makes me nervous.
