Desperate for three points, Liverpool have made four changes in the starting lineup vs Ajax. Thiago Alcantara returns to the lineup for the first time since his injury and Diogo Jota will draw the start up front. Joel Matip and Kostas Tsimikas will look to solidify what has been a shaky backline this season. The bulk of that defense will be focused on Ajax striker Steven Bergwion who has 6 goals in 6 matches this season. A 6-0 record proves that Ajax has talent all over the pitch, so the Reds can not just focus on stopping one player.

LFC Globe Verdict
After a 4-1 defeat to open Champions League play, Jürgen Klopp needed to make some changes and the boss did just that. Joe Gomez struggled mightily vs Napoli and was replaced in the lineup by Tsimikas. It's good to see that Thiago is fit enough to start. I also like the paring of Jota with Mohamed Salah up front, Salah had a poor showing by his standards in the last match, so giving him a different partner up front could be the change of pace he needs to find the back of the net. Will these changes be enough to produce three points? Reds supporters will discover the answer to that question over the next 90 minutes.
