Liverpool announced that right back Calvin Ramsay will spend the 2023-24 season on loan with Championship side Preston North End.
Ramsay joined Liverpool last season from Scottish club Aberdeen. Due to significant injuries, however, he was limited to just a pair of first-team appearances for the Reds, including a Champions League fixture with Napoli at Anfield.
Ramsey did however find the back of the net three times for Liverpool’s U-21 squad and earned a cap for the Scottish National Team. Hopefully, his time at Preston North End will give the teenager some much-needed experience and Ramsay can make a much bigger impact when he returns to Anfield after his loan. Ramsay is in the midst of a 5-year, £4.5 million contract with Liverpool.
