Liverpool played out their second goalless draw of the week after Manchester United held them at Old Trafford on Sunday.

It was a strange afternoon for both sides, with United being forced into three changes in the first-half and Roberto Firmino also coming off for the Reds.

Neither side were able to create many clear-cut chances and ultimately had to settle for a point, with the sense of missed opportunity for Liverpool.

In truth, it was a disappointing and disjointed performance from the Reds, who failed to show their best attacking play.

Nevertheless, the Reds now have a slender one-point advantage over title rivals Manchester City, who are in FA Cup action against Chelsea this weekend.
