Liverpool take on Manchester United on Sunday as the Reds look to regain top spot in the Premier League.

Liverpool return to Premier League action this weekend after their goalless draw to Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday night.

Jurgen Klopp's side sit on 65 points, behind on only on goal difference to Manchester City, although they have played a game less.

With City in League Cup action this weekend, the Reds have the chance to regain their three point advantage over Pep Guardiola's side after 27 games.

A trip to Old Trafford will be a difficult test for the Reds, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side rejuvenated ever since the Norwegian's appointment.

Klopp acknowledged United's resurgence, but insisted his side will do all they can to secure a valuable three points.

The boss led the Reds squad out at Melwood on Friday, with Dejan Lovren and Joe Gomez the only absentees from training. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was involved but is still not ready to return.
