Liverpool’s first three fixtures confirmed with Premier League set for return

Liverpool's first three fixtures after the restart of the season have been confirmed, starting with the derby.

The Premier League is set to resume the 2019/20 campaign on 17 June, with taking on and in action against .

A full round of fixtures will take place the following weekend, with the Reds set to take on Carlo Ancelotti's side on Sunday, 21 June for a late kick-off.

vs Liverpool – 21 June, 7 pm (Sky Sports)
Liverpool vs Crystal Palace – 24 June, 8.15 pm (Sky Sports)
Man City vs Liverpool – 2 July, 8.15 pm (Sky Sports)

The derby will be televised live on Sky Sports, who have announced they will broadcast the fixture for free to viewers in the United Kingdom.

There have been suggestions that the game could be moved to a neutral venue, amid safety concerns from authorities. However, Joe Anderson, mayor of Liverpool, has said he would be in favour of the fixture taking place at .

Should Man City suffer a defeat against Arsenal, Liverpool have the possibility of clinching the Premier League title with a against their local rivals.

If not, a win against the Blues would see Jurgen Klopp's side needing just one more win to seal the title, with Crystal Palace provisionally set to visit on Wednesday, 24 June at 8.15pm.

Liverpool then face Manchester City on Thursday, 2 July - also at 8.15pm. The game is set for the Etihad Stadium, however, it could still be subject to further change.
