Liverpool are back in action at Anfield five days after a 1-0 win over Ajax in the Champions League, which sealed progression to the knockout stages of the competition.

But the visit of Wolves will undoubtedly have a different complexion on Sunday night, with Jurgen Klopp's side welcoming back 2,000 fans to the stands - a little under nine months after their last appearance in front of supporters.

The return of fans at Anfield - even in a limited capacity - is a welcome sight, with the Reds' exuberant and intense style of play so inextricably linked with their supporters.

But the Reds will need to be wary of Nuno Espirito Santo's side spoiling the occasion, with the visitors more than a handful at their expansive best.

With all the top six sides in the table securing victory this weekend, the hope is the champions can respond with three points of their own.

Klopp could have some decisions to make after Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita returned to training at Kirkby earlier this week, with the duo likely to be in contention for Wolves' visit.

The boss has all but confirmed youngster Caoimhin Kelleher will start again over Adrian, while it's difficult to envisage Curtis Jones being rested after his stellar match-winning performance in midweek.

The Reds continue to have a number of stars unavailable, with Alisson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner, Xherdan Shaqiri, Thiago, Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez all on the sidelines.
