Liverpool have made 5 changes in the Starting XI ahead of the away fixture versus Nottingham Forest Curtis Jones returns from injury and is in the midfield, paired with Fabinho while Andy Robertson will be in the back line for defense. Normal starters such as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson are available off the bench after having just put in a strong shift Wednesday. As expected, former Red Neco Williams draws the start for Nottingham Forest.
Alisson, Milner, Gomez, VanDijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Jones, Elliott, Carvalho, Salah, Firmino
Adrian, Kelleher, Henderson Oxlade-Chamberlain, Tsimikas, Clark, Bajcetic, Phillips Alexander-Arnold
Henderson, Cook, Williams, Awoniyi, Gibbs-White, Lingard, Kouyate, Yates, Freuler, Aurier, McKenna
Hennessey, Biancone, Worrall, Mangala, Surridge, Johnson, Dennis, Boly, Lodi
Since Liverpool just played West Ham United earlier in the week, Jürgen Klopp was expected to make some changes in the lineup to avoid heavy legs, I like the fact that he is giving young players like Harvey Elliott some starting experience with the flexibility of bringing a veteran in Henderson off the bench. One notable absence is Darwin Núñez. He came off early after scoring in the last match and while not listed on the injury report, he is not on the team sheet. It will be interesting to learn his status after the match.
