Liverpool will finally have the opportunity to avenge their controversial 2-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur as they take on Brighton at the Amex Stadium.
The Reds suffered their first loss of the season last Saturday after Joel Matip's 96th minute own goal secured three points for the home side who were lucky to get away with a win after Luis Diaz had a goal wrongly disallowed for offside.
Liverpool also had to contend with red cards to Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota as they finished the game with just nine men. While it was a bitter pill to swallow for the Redmen, they got back to winning ways in midweek as they defeated Union Saint-Gillioise 2-0 to remain top of their Europa League group.
As they return to Premier League duty, Liverpool have the opportunity to put together another winning run but they'll face a tough test by taking on Brighton. The Seagulls sit sixth in the Premier League having enjoyed a blistering start to the season, with five wins in their opening seven games.
However, they suffered their heaviest defeat of the season as they fell 6-1 to Aston Villa in their last league game which left a sour taste in the Brighton's players mouths before they took on Marseille in the Europa League as they came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2.
Brighton have been quite the bogey team for Liverpool in recent years as the six-time Champions League victors are winless in their last three fixtures against the side, having lost 3-0 in their last Premier League battle.
For Liverpool, it's a shot at redemption as well as a return to Brighton for Alexis Mac Allister who left the club for Merseyside in the summer after a stellar season with the Seagulls as he helped the club qualify for Europe for the first time in the club's history.
On the other side, James Milner will make his return to Anfield after eight years with the club who he helped to win a litany of trophies including the Premier League and Champions League.

Brighton have been a tricky opponent for Liverpool to figure out in recent years and I believe they'll cause the Reds trouble.
However, Liverpool possess enough quality to kill off a game at any moment as I predict they will win 3-1.
