Jurgen Klopp set to have full Liverpool squad available for title run-in

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will be boosted by the return of big stars following the conclusion of the current break.

The Reds return to action against Tottenham on Sunday as they look to consolidate their place at the summit of the table, albeit with a game in hand.

Klopp is expected to have Naby Keita and back in contention against Mauricio Pochettino's side, despite the duo both missing international duty with injury.

Keita missed Liverpool's last two fixtures against Bayern Munich and with a minor injury, meanwhile Shaqiri pulled out of the Switzerland squad with a groin issue.

According to the Evening Standard, the club hope that both will be fit enough for the weekend, having had adequate time to recover during the break.

Neither have been main-stays in Klopp's side, however the duo will no doubt be required in the closing stages of the season as the Reds look to silverware on two fronts.

Keita and Shaqiri are just two of a number of players that will ease Klopp's injury worries heading in to April.

and are both expected to be in contention after the international break, having continued their rehabilitation at Melwood over the international break.

and have also gotten over their own injury concerns after both featuring for their countries this fortnight.

The Standard also add that is not considered a doubt against Spurs, despite suffering a back injury which saw him withdraw from the England squad.

The youngster is set for a "well-earned rest" however, which could either mean the imminent return of Gomez after a four-mount spell out or taking up that role.

Victory against Tottenham will be a huge boost for Liverpool as they look to pip to the Premier League title.

Pep Guardiola's side play Fulham the day before, meaning it is likely that the Reds will have to earn all three points to go back above them in the table.

City would still have a game in hand, against , which makes this title race all the harder to predict.

It is vital that Klopp is able to keep his players fit for the title run-in, where anything but a win in their last seven games could be fatal.
