The Reds made 3 chances to the Starting XI ahead of the fixture with Fulham. Darwin Núñez returns to his starting role after coming on as a sub for the last several matches and Kostas Tsimikas makes a somewhat surprising start. Captain Jordon Henderson completes the trio of changes.
For Fulham, Aleksandar Mitrović is not listed among the starters or even on the team sheet. The Cottagers' leading scoring was not listed on the most recent injury report, so he is likely serving a suspension of some sort.
Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas, Fabinho, Henderson, Jones, Diaz, Salah, Núñez
Kelleher, Gomez, Milner, Gakpo, Elliott, Jota, Robertson, Carvalho, Matip
Leno, Soarez Tosin, Diop, Robinson, Palhinha, Lukic, Wilson, Cairney, Willian, Vinicius
Rodak, Duffy, Kebano, Tete, Solomon, James, Decordova-Reid, Reed. Harris
It’s good to see Diogo Jota is well enough to come on as a substitute if needed after suffering a bruised rib, but hopefully, the Reds won’t need him. I’m also excited to see Kostas Tsimikas, one of my favorite players get a start. He deserves it. I also like the pairing of Luis Diaz and Darwin Núñez up front. That combo could put a few goals in the back of the net today.
