‣ Semi-Final (2nd Leg)
‣ KO: 8pm BST

Ajax host Tottenham at the Johan Cruyff Arena for the second-leg of their Champions League semi-final tie as they look to book their place in the final alongside Liverpool, who confirmed their spot with a remarkable 4-0 (4-3 aggregate) victory.

The Dutch side performed admirably in the first-leg, earning a 1-0 victory thanks to Donny van de Beek's strike at Tottenham's new ground last week, and they will back themselves to do the job once again against Mauricio Pochettinho's side.

The Spurs manager, speaking ahead of the fixture, insisted that his side can still overturn the one-goal deficit in Amsterdam but they must believe in themselves to do so, akin to Liverpool - who had a much harder task on paper.

Ajax have performed incredibly well in the Champions League this season and have knocked out both Real Madrid and Juventus so far, playing an attacking brand of football suited to their young, talented and hard-working squad.

Tottenham will take inspiration from their showing against Dortmund in the last round, however they will need to put their away form right if they are to have a chance of qualification, having lost their last five away games in all competitions.

It promises to be an intriguing night in the Netherlands; will Spurs join Liverpool in an all-English affair in Madrid, or will Ajax continue to their blistering run to reach the final?

Tottenham will be boosted by the return of defender Jan Vertonghen, who suffered a collision with Toby Alderweireld and goalkeeper Andre Onana in the first-leg.

Vertonghen worryingly went down with what looked like concussion, however the club confirmed the Belgian had not suffered concussed and is in contention to play.

Son Heung-min will return in attack for Spurs, who are without Harry Kane, after missing the first leg through suspension whilst winger Erik Lamela and defender Serge Aurier are also available after recovering from hamstring injuries.

Ajax manager Erik ten Hag has no injury worries ahead of the fixture, with forward David Neres back in contention after recovering from a knock.
