Liverpool finished their Premier League season with a 2-0 win at Anfield after a brace from Sadio Mane.

The Reds had hoped that Manchester City would drop points away to Brighton at the Amex, however Pep Guardiola did their part by winning 4-1 on the south-coast to win the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp's side dispatched Wolves with a Mane goal in each half, reaching a mammoth 97 points in the table, agonisingly just one short of City.

The Anfield crowd showed no signs of being disheartened at full-time, instead there was a sense of unequivocal certainty that the Reds would be back in the conversation next year.

Mane's brace saw him equal Mohamed Salah's goal tally this season, meaning the duo will share this season's Golden Boot award.

Meanwhile, Alisson kept his 21st clean-sheet of a debut league season to surpass Pepe Reina, who held the Liverpool record in the Premier League era.

Liverpool will now turn their attention to the Champions League final, facing fellow Premier League side Tottenham at Estadio Metropolitano on 1 June.
