Liverpool mounted an incredible comeback in Istanbul 15 years ago. Relive some of the best moments of the following 24 hours as Reds supporters celebrated European Cup number five.
It's perhaps Liverpool's greatest ever night in their illustrious history. But for much of it, it looked as if it would be the opposite: a humiliating and unforgettable defeat on the world stage.
The Reds went in 3-0 down at half-time in the Champions League final, with a star-studded AC Milan side in no mood to stop there. What followed, however, wasn't part of the script.
Rafa Benitez's side clawed their way back and clinched victory after extra-time and penalties, sending millions of Liverpool supporters around the globe into pure bedlam.
