In a game that reminded fans of Liverpool’s run of late-winners early in the season, Alexis Mac Allister stole three points from Nottingham Forest with a goal in the 97th minute. The win also proves huge in the standings as the Reds now move into a tie for 4th on the EPL Table.
- Alisson (8/10): Big save to start the match, and was in top form the rest of the way
- Szobozlai (6/10): Not a bad game, but was really neutralised due to the lack of set pieces
- Konate (7/10): Strong defence, made nice pushes forward but gave away a few fouls thatended Liverpool buildups
- Van Dijk (8/10): With the offence struggling, the captain and other defenders stepped up
- Gakpo (5/10): Could not get anything going. His play, along with that of other forward players are the reason that Liverpool had to wait for a late winner.
- Kerkez (5/10): Usually more involved in starting the Reds' attack from the back.
- Jones (7/10): Named to the Starting XI late. Took him time to style in and had a solid second half
- Salah (6/10): Some good play on the wings in the second half, but did not do enough in the first half for a higher score
- Mac Allister (8/10): Bad luck to have the goal disallowed, but played hero with the late winner
- Gravenberch (5/10): Name barely called. Forgot he was on the pitch
- Ekitike (6/10): Not enough touches in front of the goal, and had a late chance saved
The Substitutes
- Ngumoha (7/10): Great footwork to set up the late chance
- Chiesa (6/10): Not much of an impact
- Robertson (7/10): Vital clearance late
- Gomez (7/10): Tracked back to force a corner on a Forest attack
Man of the Match
- Alisson, I know Mac Allister scored the winner, but if Alisson had not been in goal, Liverpool would have lost
The Manager
- Arne Slot (6/10): Too tentative in the first half. Made a push in the second with the Ngu

Salah was awful
