Liverpool are back in action on Wednesday evening as they take on League One side MK Dons in the third round of the League Cup.

The Reds will be hoping to make it to the fourth round, having been knocked out at this stage of the competition for the last two years, losing to Leicester and Chelsea respectively.

With all the focus of Jurgen Klopp's side on the Premier League and Champions League this season, this fixture is a chance for the manager to rotate some of his big-hitters.

The boss is expected to make a number of changes to his side, with debuts expected for a handful of youngsters, including Caoimhín Kelleher, Rhian Brewster and Harvey Elliot.

The Reds will need to be careful to avoid elimination, however, with MK Dons sure to fancy their chances against a Liverpool lineup missing some of their biggest stars.
