Liverpool moved back up to second in the U18s Premier League following an eventful 2-1 win over Manchester United in their penultimate game of the campaign.
Liam Millar put the Reds ahead in the first ten minutes following good work from Adam Lewis, who provided a pinpoint cross for Millar to poke home.
However, a quick reply from Ethan Laird meant both sides went in level after a scintillating first half, with the Reds looking the most dangerous of the two teams.
Steven Gerrard's side were dealt a blow at the beginning of the second half when defender Rhys Williams was shown a straight red card. United youngster Dion McGhee's first touch tempted the Liverpool centre-back in for a slide challenge that earned him his marching orders.
However, Rafael Camacho's stunning goal - fifteen minutes from time - meant the young Reds were able to dig deep to secure a victory. Camacho, who has widely impressed coaches this season, sped into the box from the left wing before smashing a low finish into the far corner.
Despite United piling the pressure, Liverpool's 10-men side held on to impressively win all three points. The Reds move to second in the table, above Everton, with just one game remaining.
