Liverpool have announced the signing of goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardasvili. The Georgia (country) native is currently with the Spanish club Los Che and will make the move to Anfield at the end of the season.
The 23-year-old keeper burst onto the scene during the 2024 Euros, leading Georgia to the knockout stages and the Round of 16. Mamardashvili made an impressive 21 saves in three group-stage games which tied the record for most saves in a three-game stretch by a single goalkeeper in the competition's history.
