Fasika -

Ahead of Liverpool's match against today, (on Saturday, May 6), Liverpool manager spoke to the media on a multitude of topics.

Those include rumours of leaving the club in the summer, the possibility of Liverpool and updates on the injuries of and .

Klopp also discussed the top-four race Liverpool find themselves in and said he believes will get the points they need to qualify for the UEFA .

“Other teams are above us and if they their games, we have no choice,” he said to the Liverpool Echo.

“We have teams behind us, Brighton could win all of their games this season given how they played last night. We have 59 pts, we can get 71 maximum, I think United will get the points they need.

“We have enough to do with ourselves.”

The German also praised Brentford for their style of play and called Saturday's clash a “difficult game”.

“Brentford, oh my God, it's such a difficult game. They are really good at counter-attacking. The players and manager are great.”

On Milner, Klopp revealed that he indeed wants to work longer with him, having spent eight years together, amid rumours that Brighton is close to securing his signature in the summer.

“With Milly, I can say I've had some very good conversations with him and he knows what I think of him and I want to work longer with him. I'm not really aware of the outcome,” Klopp said.

With Milner rumoured to be leaving, Brighton's Alexis Mac Allister has been reported to be interested in a Liverpool move but Klopp remained silent on the matter.

Ahead of the game on Saturday, Klopp provided updates on the injury issues of Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, and .

“Diogo has his back issue, he has a bruised rib. Bobby is not yet in team training, we hope he can start this week,” Klopp revealed.

“Thiago will have the surgery and is out for the rest of the season. Hendo we have to see. He had a scan yesterday but we do not have the results yet. It's not a bad thing.

Liverpool have an almost fully fit squad aside from the four players and will be looking to secure three points to be just one point behind Manchester United to keep the pressure on during the top-four race.
