For the first time since the 2015-16 season, Liverpool will participate in the Europa League after failing to finish in the Top 4 in the EPL table last season. The draw for the group stage of the event will take place on Friday, September 1st at Noon BST in Monaco.

Per the rules of the event, the Reds can not be matched up with another EPL team in the Group Stage, so they will likely face a club they rarely see on the pitch.
