It's 11 years to the day since one of Liverpool's most notable European nights - a 2-1 victory over in the Nou Camp.

The over the defending European champions marked another remarkable achievement for Rafa Benitez's Reds and helped propel the team to their second European Cup final in three years.

The build-up to the fixture was chaotic for Liverpool, with an infamous night out that started with some karaoke ended with Craig Bellamy attacking John Arne Riise with a golf club.

However, Liverpool shrugged off the mayhem as they downed the much-feared Barca with goals from - yes, you guessed it - Riise and Bellamy!

It was a night where Alvaro Arbeloa marked his Liverpool debut by keeping Lionel Messi quiet throughout and also contained a celebration from Bellamy which is almost as famous as the result itself.

Barca were holders of the in February 2007 and were able to boast stars such as Ronaldinho, Messi, Xavi and Deco. However the Catalans were humbled at the Nou Camp as Benitez's Reds claimed yet another high-profile scalp on Europe's biggest stage.
