Divock Origi was the hero for Liverpool on Saturday night as he came on from the bench to score a dramatic late winner against Newcastle.
The Reds took the lead early on via Virgil van Dijk's header, however Christian Atsu levelled the scores just seven minutes later with a strike from close-range.
Mohamed Salah converted from Trent Alexander-Arnold's second assist of the game to give Liverpool a half-time lead, however Newcastle struck back early in the second-half.
Salomon Rondon powerfully finished past goalkeeper Alisson to make it 2-2, before Salah was worryingly stretchered off the pitch after colliding with goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.
Liverpool needed a goal to keep their title dream alive and substitute Origi, who came on for Salah, was the one to provide it once again.
Xherdan Shaqiri, also on from the bench, whipped in an excellent set-piece into the box for the Belgian to head home and give Liverpool a crucial three points.
The Reds are now on 94 points, two points above Manchester City, who face Leicester at the Etihad on Monday night.
