All the best photos from Anfield as Liverpool cruised to a 4-0 victory over Southampton on Saturday after a flying a second-half display.

Fabinho returned in midfield for the Reds as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain slotted into the front three alongside Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

There was very little between the two sides in the first half, with the visitors putting in one of the better performances seen at Anfield this year.

However, it was all Liverpool in the second half as Oxlade-Chamberlain put the Reds ahead with an excellent shot into the bottom left corner just two minutes after the restart.

Jordan Henderson doubled the lead with an emphatic finish into the top corner after good work from Firmino, who found the skipper with an excellent reverse ball.

Henderson then turned goalscorer to provider as he sent Salah through on goal with a fantastic penetrative pass. The Egyptian made no mistake with a prodded finish over Alex McCarthy.

Liverpool rounded the game with a fourth in the closing stages as Firmino squared the ball for Salah, who was on hand yet again to provide the finish.

The Reds take their tally to 73 points in the Premier League as they hold a 22-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the table, ahead of Pep Guardiola's side visit of Tottenham on Sunday.
