Joe Gomez will "100 per cent" be fit to face Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, Jurgen Klopp said after the Reds' meeting with Watford.
Liverpool beat Watford 3-0 at Vicarage Road on Saturday, however they were missing Gomez in defence after the youngster picked up an ankle injury in training ahead of the game.
Dejan Lovren replaced the 21-year-old alongside Virgil van Dijk as the Reds claimed a club record of clean sheets after this stage in the Premier League.
They face Paris Saint-Germain in France on Wednesday for a pivotal Champions League clash and Klopp confirmed that Gomez will be fit to play.
"I would say 100 per cent," Klopp told Sky Sports when asked if Gomez would be back against PSG.
"He got injured in the last second of the session yesterday - you couldn't believe that but it was like this.
"He could have played probably but if you have the options like we have then you don't take any risks.
"He will be ready for Wednesday, I am sure."
The Reds can qualify should they beat PSG, however any other result will mean they need to beat Napoli at home on match-day six to qualify to the knock-out stages.
Liverpool overcame Watford after a tough first hour, with Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino all netting in the final 25 minutes.
The Reds sit in second in the table on 33 points, two points behind leaders Manchester City who convincingly beat West Ham United 4-0 away from home.
