Jurgen Klopp's side returned to action with a bang this weekend following the last international break of the calendar year as they dispatched Arsenal at Anfield in familiar fashion.
They now resume their European campaign as they host Porto in their penultimate Group B fixture, having already clinched qualification to the knockout stages as group winners with a 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid in their last outing.
Whilst there is little riding on the game for the Reds, the visitors will undoubtedly be looking for every advantage they can get given they sit just one point ahead of third-placed Atletico in the table, who could go above them with a win tonight before the two sides meet on the final matchday.
The Reds will therefore need to avoid any hints of complacency if they wish to extend their lead at the top of the group, with the hope they can put in one of their routine displays under the lights at Anfield.
A repeat display from the 5-1 win over the visitors in the reverse fixture would be a welcome sight, although the priority for Klopp and co will undoubtedly be to avoid any injuries during what is the busiest time of the season.

Liverpool will once again make a late call on the involvement of captain Jordan Henderson and left-back Andy Robertson. The Reds skipper came on from the bench at the weekend having picked up a knock on international duty last week, whilst Robertson was absent altogether.
Meanwhile, James Milner and Divock Origi could be involved in the matchday squad after returning to full team training on Tuesday. However, the Reds are still without the services of Joe Gomez, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Roberto Firmino.
The boss is expected to make a number of changes given the Reds' already-qualified status, with the likes of Caoimhin Kelleher, Ibrahima Konate and Takumi Minamino all vying for a rare starting role.
