Liverpool have enjoyed a winning start to their campaign, with wins against Leeds and Chelsea in the Premier League and a rout of Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup last Thursday.
Despite some jitters at the back end of last campaign and during pre-season, Jurgen Klopp's side now look to be back to their usual self as they focus on retaining the Premier League title this season.

However, they come up against a tricky Arsenal that has caused them issues of late. The Reds succumbed to a 2-1 defeat in July before losing out on the Community Shield on penalties against a spirited Gunners side.
Mikel Arteta's side have also enjoyed a successful start to the campaign and should come to Anfield with plenty of confidence on the back of nine consecutive wins across the end of last season and the start of 20/21.
The encounter is made all the more fascinating with the two sides lining up against each other in a repeat of the clash in the Carabao Cup in just three days. It's sure to be an intriguing 90 minutes of football, with the hope the Reds can run out winners.

Liverpool remain without the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip through injury, but centre-back Joe Gomez is back in contention after returning to training.
While a full debut for Thiago looked certain, the Spaniard is a major doubt for the clash alongside goalkeeper Alisson, with the duo set to be evaluated closer to kick-off.
But it should be an otherwise full-strength Liverpool side, with a selection of youngsters and fringe players lining up in the League Cup in midweek.
