EDITOR’S NOTE: This article is being updated in real-time as the match concludes. Please refresh for final ratings and post-match analysis.

  • Mamardashvili (710)  A pair of big saves in the first half. Nothing he could do about Barsley’s goal
  • Gomez  (5/10): Not much to talk about, and also picked up a yellow card
  • Van Dijk (7/10)  Good defending, plus nearly scored in the second half
  • Szboszlai  (5/10)  The ultimate feast or famine game. Scored a goal, but also surrendered one, both in spectacular fashion
  • Mac Allister (9/10)  Huge impact with a pair of assists
  • Chiesa (6/10) He was solid, but did not take full  advantage of extended minutes
  • Jones (6/10) Barely had his name called all night, but made no mistakes
  • Gakpo (6/10) Pretty quiet  but did have a nice header toward the goal
  • Frimpong (8/10). Solid runs down the wing, capped off with a goal
  • Robertson (7/10)  Solid defending and made a few probing runs forward
  • Ngumoha (6/10) Some moments of brilliance, but also gave away some cheap fouls to end attacks

The Substitutes

  • Ekitike (7/10) Created some good chances with 30 minutes on the pitch
  • Wirtz (7/10) Sloppy finish in front ofthe  goal, but put the game away with a screamer late
  • Konate (6/10) Nice defensive header to stop an attack
  • Gravenberch (6/10) Servacable replacement for an injured Ngumoha
  • Nyoni (6/10) Late sub, no real impact

Man of the Match

  • Alexis Mac Allister: As I predicted in the match preview, had a strong game in the midfield that produced a pair of assists

The Manager

  • Arne Slot (8/10) Went for it with a strong Starting XI and impact subs in Wirtz and Ekitike
