A lot has changed for Everton since then, however, with the visitors parting ways with Marco Silva a day after before hiring Duncan Ferguson on an interim basis and later bringing in Carlo Ancelotti at the helm.

With Liverpool’s main priority being the Premier League this season, Klopp is expected to make a number of changes to his side, which may prove to be tricky with Ancelotti sure to name his strongest possible side.

Despite a heavily-rotated Reds side expected, Liverpool remain firm favourites to get the job done at Anfield and prevail in the Merseyside derby for the second time this season.
