Liverpool return to EPL action after a convincing 3-0 win over Ajax to claim a spot in the Champions League Round of 16. Now they will host Leeds United Saturday at Anfield in hopes of erasing the taste of a 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest in their last EPL match.

Thiago Alcantara could return to the lineup for this match after missing the last two games with an ear infection. Captain Jordan Henderson will be a match-time decision after receiving an unspecified knock versus Ajax. 6 other Reds have been ruled out of the match with more serious injuries.

The Reds need all 3 points in the worst way. Sure, they are moving on to the next round of the Champions League, proving they are one of the top teams in European football. Now they need to show it in EPL play. Leeds United have been struggling as of late. Their last victory inside the EPL came on August 24th vs Chelsea and it's up to the Reds to extend the misery. Liverpool should get the win as they play much better at Anfield and I expect them to come away with a relatively comfortable 3-1 win, but as we learned from the Nottingham Forest match anything can happen.
