Bournemouth 0-0 Liverpool Halftime Report: Level at Vitality Stadium

Vitality Stadium pitch and stands during halftime of AFC Bournemouth vs Liverpool FC

Both teams spent the first five minutes of the game feeling each other out. Florian Wirtz earned the first real chance by drawing a free kick, but Dominik Szoboszlai put a shot just high. Alisson came away with a diving save in the 19th minute to keep the match level.

That chance by the Cherries seemed to wake up the Reds as they began to control more possession, but they could not do much with it until Barcola forced a save in the 34th minute

LFC Globe Verdict

Not much action against the run of play by either side, except for one good chance from each side. I predicted a tight match throughout, so this is not a surprise.
