Liverpool started the week with a win against Arsenal on Monday night to make it three wins out of three at the start of the Premier League season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side fell to a defeat on penalties against the Gunners later in the week, but it isn’t a night that the Reds will dwell on for too long.
With the Reds departing around the world for the international break next week, they will be hoping to continue their winning start to the Premier League and enter the break with four wins out of four games.
They take on Dean Smith’s side at Villa Park, with the home side likely to be in good spirits having made a solid start to their own campaign, despite Thursday’s cup defeat at home.
Liverpool remain huge favourites to showcase their title credentials and earn another victory, but they will need to be wary of a Villa side who can be tricky on their day.

Liverpool will be without midfielder Thiago and forward Sadio Mane, with the duo both self-isolating due to coronavirus.
Goalkeeper Alisson is also ruled out after suffering an injury during training, with no further details on the injury or prognosis known yet.
However, skipper Jordan Henderson could return after joining full team training earlier this week. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joel Matip remain on the sidelines.
