Liverpool were held by Napoli at home in midweek but they now turn their attention back to the Premier League as they look to return to winning ways against Brighton.
Despite Jurgen Klopp’s side failing to show their top form in recent weeks, they remain the only undefeated side in the league and continue to set the pace at the top of the table.

Brighton have been playing expansive football under manager Graham Potter this season but could set up defensively on Merseyside, coming into the game on the back of 3-0 and 2-0 defeats against Man United and Leicester respectively.
Klopp has admitted his side could find it tricky to impose their game against the Seagulls, who have had a week’s rest and should be in better condition than the Reds coming off an intense clash in midweek.
However, Liverpool remain firm favourites to clinch another three points, especially at Anfield, and become the first side to reach 40 points in the league this year.
