Photos: Reds train at Melwood ahead of Friday’s Huddersfield visit

Liverpool FC

It was all smiles at Melwood as the Liverpool squad prepared for Friday night’s meeting with Huddersfield Town at Anfield.

The Reds take on Jan Siewert’s side as they look to put the onus back on Manchester City in the hunt for the Premier League title.

Pep Guardiola’s side beat Manchester United on Wednesday night to go back to the top of the table, with just three league fixtures remaining this season.

There was no Mohamed Salah in training, with the Egyptian attending the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday night.

However, the club maintain that he will be back by Thursday and will be in contention to face the Terriers at Anfield.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhian Brewster were both present in training and could be a step closer to making their comebacks on Friday.
