What a way to break the record for .

A second goal of the game for the winger in the utterly humiliating 7-0 thrashing of Manchester United secured Salah a record he'd been hunting since he joined the club in 2017.

His brace made it 129 goals in just 205 games for the club, which is just an insane consistency he's managed to keep during his six seasons at the club.

There have been plenty of special moments for the Egyptian King wearing the famous red, and we'll be looking at a couple of those moments in this article.

While the game in itself had no real meaning for the rest of the season, it was the start of something special for Salah.

While the game against Tottenham in the final wasn't the most glamourous, it was Salah's first goal in a final for the club, and dispatching the penalty in just the first minute of the game set the tone, allowing the players to play their football and ended up being the first of two goals the team scored that night to secure the trophy for the sixth time.

It's a memory I'm sure Salah looks on fondly as not many players get the opportunity to score in a major European final but it's one he worked ever so hard for and one he'll be looking to replicate in the coming years.

The biggest game in English football is and always will be Liverpool v .

It's an opportunity for players on both sides to etch their names into the folklore of the fixture.

Within six seasons, Mohamed Salah has done just that and a hat-trick in the famous 5-0 victory at last season catapulted him into true greatness.

With his trio of goals alongside a consolation in a 2-1 defeat earlier this season, Salah became the leading scorer in the fixture with 10 goals and further increased his record to 12 with Sunday's brace.

With much more of his career to play out at Liverpool, Mohamed Salah is a living legend who not only strives for his personal best but the best for his team.
