- CM: Ryan Gravenberch – The same can be said of Gravenberch. The CMs have to control the middle of the park
- RW: Mohamed Salah – The Egyptian King has missed a few chances. He can’t afford to do that vs City
- AM: Cody Gakpo – Needs to keep popping up in good spots
- LW: Florian Wirtz – a player who can win individual battles with City defenders
- ST: Hugo Ekitiké – Has been in top form as of late, pairing with Wirtz
