New Cody Gakpo isn't eligible to join the team until . Klopp said yesterday that while it is possible that Gakpo could join the team for their January 2, 2023 match against , it's more likely he'll be available for the January 7 FA Cup match against .

LFC Globe Verdict

Klopp has chosen the best available side. With , , and Luis Diaz all on the injured list, his options on the attack are limited. Tonight would be a good time for Darwin Núñez to reward his manager's faith by getting a goal or two.

I see that happening. I think the big Uruguayan striker will score tonight. I also think the backline will contribute another goal like they did against . I think the Reds outfox by a score of 2-0.
