Firmino turned provider to goalscorer in the second half as he took over from Mohamed Salah’s breakaway run and sent a powerful first-time finish past Pope to make it 3-0 to Liverpool.
Liverpool sit at the top of the Premier League table as they head for the first international break of the season, with a flawless August setting them up for a solid start to the campaign.
