All the best photos from Sunday afternoon as Liverpool beat Cardiff City 2-0 to go back to the top of the Premier League table.
The onus was on Jurgen Klopp’s side to deliver after Manchester City earned three points against Tottenham to head back to the league summit.
Despite dominating much of proceedings, the Reds finally made a break-through just before the hour mark as Gini Wijnaldum smashed in Trent Alexander-Arnold’s low corner to give Liverpool the lead.
With 10 minutes left on the clock, Mohamed Salah was judged to have been pulled down in the box by Sean Morrison and James Milner stepped up to convert the ensuing penalty.
The Reds go back above Man City in the table with 88 points, the most they have ever achieved in a Premier League season.
