As expected, Andoni Iraola made several changes to the Starting XI ahead of the huge EPL clash with Arsenal. Trey Nyoni gets a surprise start in front of Ryan Gravenberch in the midfield while Dominik Szoboszlai return to the bench after recovering from injury.

What changed and why it matters
Nyoni is the biggest surprise here. I said earlier that the youngster was gaining Iraola’s trust to make an impact off of the bench but I did not expect the 19-year-old to get the start in such a key game vs. the defending champs. Dominik Szoboszlai being available to come on as a sub is huge. It would not shock me if he pulled off another piece of magic as he did in this fixture a year ago.
LFC Globe Verdict
The boss keeps rotating players between competitions and why not? It’s working. Let’s hope the run continues today and the Reds can move to within 3 points at the top of the table. UP THE REDS!!
