Jürgen Klopp met with the media recently to discuss Monday's massive matchup with Manchester United. The boss discussed a variety of topics in the nearly 15-minute presser, including Liverpool's recent success against Man U, Darwin Núñez's red card, injuries and many other topics.

Above all, Klopp stresses that the match at Old Trafford will be anything but an easy for the Reds.

“Those matches are in the past,” Klopp said when asked about Liverpool's sweep of the Red Devils a season ago. “Those were different games under different circumstances and if anything. it will serve to motivate even more if that's possible.”

Klopp also addressed the Darwin Núñez red card and subsequent suspension.

“Darwin made a mistake and he knows it,” Klopp said. “We have never had a situation like this  here, but we are all human beings and we make mistakes in life and we have to carry on.”

On the injury front Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, Ibrahima  Konate, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Calvin Ramsay and Caoimhin Kelleher have been ruled out, but Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita are available.

“Naby was ill for a week,” Klopp said. “Last game, he was on the bench, but he is fully in training, looks really good. All fine.”
