The best snaps from Craven Cottage as Liverpool head back to the top

Liverpool went back to the top of the Premier League table after beating 2-1 at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

The Reds looked to have let a huge advantage slip when former Reds winger Ryan Babel made the most of and ’s mix-up to cancel out ’s opener in the first-half.

Liverpool were handed a fortunate break in the final ten minutes as goalkeeper Sergio Rico impeded in the danger area to give the Reds a penalty.

Substitute stepped up to confidently convert for the Reds and rescue a valuable three points.

It caps off a perfect week for the Reds, having defeated in the Champions League on Wednesday night to progress to the quarter-finals.

They now sit in first place in the Premier League over the March international break, two points above who have a game in hand.
