Roberto Firmino eases injury worries ahead of Champions League semi-final - Barcelona vs Liverpool

Liverpool are expecting to be back in training on Tuesday ahead of this week's trip to in the .

The Brazilian missed last Friday‘s 5-0 over after suffering a muscle tear in training a day before.

There were rumours that Firmino's season could be cut short by the injury, however manager Jurgen Klopp eased those worries, insisting his striker would soon be fit.

He had been a major doubt for Wednesday night's Champions League semi-final first-leg against Barcelona at Camp Nou, however he looks set to be given the all clear for the trip.

Firmino is set to re-join training with his teammates on Tuesday morning, with a 21-man squad jetting out to Spain later in the afternoon.

Should he pass his fitness test, the Reds forward is likely to be part of the travelling squad despite just the one full training session before match-day.
