Liverpool had several good chances from younger players in the first half, but the match bogged down in the latter stages as the teams entered halftime goalless.
Youngster Josh Abe put a shot on frame inside three minutes, followed by Lewis Koumas putting a shot just wide in the 5th. The chances kept coming, but despite the bright start, the Reds could not finish.
Wrexham had a corner in the 13th minute, but Dominic Szoboszlai cleared it. The match settled in from that point. The Red Dragons had a strong chance near the half-hour mark, but Sam Smith was called for offside. Szoboszlai made a charging run down the middle of the pitch, but he could not connect with Koumas on the pass in the box

LFC Globe Verdict
The match is lackluster at the moment. It is crying out for a goal. Hopefully the Reds can produce some in the second half.
