Liverpool Predicted Lineup vs LASK: Youth Stars Step Up in Attack

Andoni Iriola faces some choices when putting together a Starting XI  vs LASK in the Champions League. With Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo, and Dominik Szoboszlai out with injury, that’s 3 household names the boss will have to replace, two of them in attacking positions

The Explanation

I think the backline stays pretty steady with Virgil van Dijk, Ronald Araujo, Jeremy Jaquet, and Milos Kerkez. Ryan Gravenberch will have to come in for Szoboszlai in the midfield, pairing with Alexis Mac Allister. Bradley Barcola, Florian Wirtz, and Rio Ngumoha will support Lewis Koumas up top.

Other Possibilities

There aren’t many. Victor Munoz could start in place of Rio Ngumoha, or Iraola could play them both and move Ngumoha up top instead of Koumas, but that's about it.

LFC Gobe Verdict

Slim pickings for the Reds in this one. Let’s hope it’s enough to get by LASK
