Liverpool 4-0 Southampton highlights - Watch all the goals and highlights as Diogo Jota bagged a brace and Virgil van Dijk and Thiago found the back of the net in a commanding performance from the Reds.

It took less than two minutes for the Reds to find the back of the net as Diogo Jota put Liverpool ahead from close-range after being found by Andy Robertson's square pass.

Alisson was called into action a couple of times but Jurgen Klopp's side were far too lively for the visitors to handle as Sadio Mane headed home from Robertson's cross, but the goal was correctly ruled out by the linesman for offside.

But Liverpool found a second just after the half-hour mark as Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson combined, with the former running into the box and squaring the ball for Jota to tap in again from close-range and make it 2-0.

Thiago then added to his goal from midweek as he got on the ball at the edge of the box and created space for himself to dispatch a left-footed strike at goal which took a deflection off defender Lyanco before hitting the back of the net.

The Reds took a little over five minutes after the break to find the back of the net as Trent Alexander-Arnold's corner was smashed into the back of the net by Virgil van Dijk, who put his name on the scoresheet for the first time this campaign.

Despite Liverpool having opportunities to make it five, the visitors managed to thwart any further chances as it ultimately finished 4-0 to the Reds.
